Lionel Albisson was born September 17th 1977 in Avignon, France.

He fell in love with the sea when he was a child and since then dreamt of this silent world.

A photographic art school in Lyon showed him the path to his dream job and Hugues Vitry on the Island of Mauritius taught him the subtleties of underwater photography.

A stay on the shore of the Red Sea further convinced him that his dream job was underwater photography.
